W.E. Couplings Ltd - Manufacturing CompanyBased between Chorley and Bolton, W.E.Couplings is the largest industrial hose and pipe fitting manufacturer for the North-West of England.
Established in 1986, the company specialises in manufacturing, assembling and testing flexible hose assemblies. Hydraulic hose assemblies are undertaken for the local industries, but the main sales are for national and international larger bore hoses.
These range from 1" bore to 12" bore (25mm to 300mm)with specials of larger sizes. Used for conveying every conceivable substance, from milk to concrete, and drinking water to radio-active sludge.
Past contracts have included undersea flexible pipelines of several kilometres. Ship to shore and ship to ship refuelling lines, long length concrete pumping line in both steel and rubber, large bore fire fighting hoses and equipment.
As well as the design and manufacture of specials, W.E.Couplings have their own CNC machine shop and fabricating facilities. W.E.Couplings are one of the very few companies in the world with large bore Swageing Capacity.
