Vertical Health - Nutritional Therapy Vertical Health is a professional Nutritional Therapy Clinic offering scientific analysis of the body's current health and function to clients throughout Kent. The clinics, are located in Maidstone and Canterbury, and provide therapy for both common health concerns and medically diagnosed and / or chronic health conditions. The Maidstone Clinics are attached to the Southcote Chiropractic Clinic and Exercise Centre offering clients further professional support including accupuncture, fitness training, injury rehabilitation and chiropractic treatment for a wide range of conditions.
The clinic aims to provide clients with a professional and friendly health service which gives clients time to discuss their health concerns in a relaxed environment. Clients also have the opportunity to conduct a wide range of biochemical and functional tests which are not available through their GP but which provide an accurate measure of key functions requiring nutritional support. Vertical Health enables clients to understand their health and empowers them to make food choices which achieve optimum health. Programmes are designed to be sensitively paced and achievable.
Vertical Health is able to offer a comprehensive range of biochemical and functional tests and supplements, most of which are only available through qualified practitioners. All supplements used are fully researched, being particularly suitable for the support of specific health concerns. However, although supplements are not always necessary they can help speed recovery and / or ease painful or debilitating conditions.
1 qualified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, and access to 7+ qualified chiropractic, massage, accupuncture therapists and fitness trainers Vertical Health and Southcote can provide comprehensive health care. The clinic is run by Clare Vernon who has studied complementary health care for the last 5 years beginning with a holistic massage qualification followed by the 3 year Diploma and Science Foundation Degree in Nutrition. Having previously worked as an Accountant, played sport to an international level and studied whilst continuing to work, Clare Vernon is more than able to understand the stresses of modern life and their impact on health. Clare has also experienced her own health concerns being an IBS recoverer which is what established her interest in Nutrition.
