5.0 out of 5 | I have had both acrylic and gel nail extensions for several years, with mixed results, depending on which salon I was going into, sometimes nails would lift off, sometimes I would end up with an infection and finally a major fungal infection resulting in losing my nail altogether. Some salons were better than others but anyway I had a pause from extensions, even manicures.
A year later I came across a website by Vanilla Beauty, I was impressed and thought I would just maybe consider having my nails done by Anna.
We arranged an appointment and it was like, WOWEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! Anna most certainly knows what she is doing, I have had acrylic nail extensions, I expected the work would be done in about 20-30 minutes or less, just like the salons that I have used before, but not so, Anna was thorough, she removed all the traces of my nail polish, the tiniest fleck was gone, she filed my nails very gently, by hand, not those horrible sandpaper machines you get in salons. I was sitting there dumbfounded, speechless, and that doesn't happen very often, I simply could not believe the 5 star service that I received there, in the privacy of my own home and for that price, it was truly amazing, my nails were looking absolutely beautiful, even my husband, who normally doesn't notice things, commented on the difference between the nails that Anna created and the ones I used to have when I came back home from the salons.
Anna is a true professional, I have never ever had any more problems with my nails since, no fungus, no infections, no breaking or anything else.
My nails look perfect and groomed, well cared for, naturally I do not use my nails as tools, e.g. as screwdrivers or scraping out burnt pans, or anything silly like that, I do look after them, and I am proud to show them off.
Anna uses professional good quality products and her 5star service is consistent, she is also a friendly, caring person and makes you feel truly pampered and spoilt.
There is simply no way would I go back to using those high street nail salons, not now that I have experienced the difference between shoddy treatment and proper, caring, professional service.
I can highly recommend Vanilla Beauty to anyone out there, the entire service is sheer perfection.
