I have been training at Twin Tigers since it opened and now have the honour of being one of the instructors. The blend of hard training mixed with full enjoyment and a friendly atmosphere make it a must for anybody of any age and of any experience level from complete beginner to the experienced martial artist.

I've been taking my 3 year old son to tiny tots for the last 6 weeks and has now just started the weekend warrior sessions, from the start I've been impressed with the professional attitude and teaching skills of all the trainers, it's a very friendly atmosphere and because of all these factors my son absolutely loves going and in his words "i want to be good at this", I would highly recommend twin tigers.Read More

Last year I had a serious injury, this prevented me from advancing my study of kickboxing which was very frustrating. Master Smith and Lisa Smith (Owners) have been so caring and supportive in allowing me to continue to use all the facilities to help my recovery and allow me to maintain some fitness. My physiotherapist and consultant are amazed at the progress and I would like to thank Master Smith and Lisa as without their generosity this recovery would not have progressed as well- I am really looking forward to advancing my studies in the very near future - THANK YOU.Read More

I initially began training at Twin Tigers in August last year as I was looking to improve my fitness. I joined the kick fit classes which are non-contact classes using Martial Arts Skills combined with gerneral cardio-vascular and strength training. I enjoyed these so much that I joined Senior Taekwondo and now I'm well and truly hooked!!The classes have improved my fitness massively and I feel I am learning so much from the instructors and other students. It is a friendly place to train for people of all ages and of any gender. Everyone will be made to feel welcome! There are a huge range of classes to accomodate most peoples busy schedules. There are always social events and additional seminars being held which makes Twin Tigers feel like a real Martial Arts Community. Highly recommended.Read More

As a new resident of Scunthorpe I wanted to keep fit, learn something new and meet new people. After some research I came across the Twin Tigers website which I found to be informative to the many different disciplines that are taught and the benefits that they bring as a fitness aid and the life skills such as discipline, patience, tolerance and respect. So I went to the club to have a look around and found all the staff members so be friendly, supportive and straight forward with what they could offer in terms of membership.
Since that day I have become a member of Twin Tigers Kickboxing and have been for just over 2 months now. In that time I have met some great people and learnt an awful lot whilst keeping generally fit, which is exactly what I was looking for.
I would recommend Twin Tigers for everyone no matter your fitness level, your age, your sex or your martial arts experience as there is something available for everyone. There is even a gym which can be used throughout the day.
A very friendly, family oriented school where everyone is made to feel welcome. A good varied election of arts and classes to choose from for all levels. The tuition is excellent and the staff friendly. With regular fun nights and activities organised both within and out of the school. Many charity events are also organised. Having been a mber for 2 years my fitness and energy levels have improved greatly, along with my self confidence. Also having an insure well equipped gym for adults to use whenever the school is open saves money as I don't need an additional gym membership.
Would recommend Twin Tigers to anyone however young or old.Read More

Having attended Twin Tigers as a member, I know how much of a friendly and fun place it is to train and socialise, and the facilities are excellent. There are a variety of fitness classes and arts/sports available at the club and it caters for all ages and abilities - a testiment to this is the fact that there are a number of families now training together at the school There are always events to take part in outside of normal sessions too. As a side-note, trial sessions are available for all classes, so there's nothing to stop you from coming in and giving it a go, with no pressure to start.
Most recently as an instructor, I know what effort goes in 'behind-the-scenes' to keep the club running and provide a great service. Every student is given the tuition and support they need, and the proper attitude and technique is always stressed. Developing fitness, building confidence and self-discipline in members are a few key points we always adhere to. New ideas are always being introduced into classes and we're continuously reviewing the way we teach, to keep the training focused yet fun.Read More

As a long time student, instructor and friend of Master R Smith I can honestly say the reason I have stuck with him for so long is because of the support he has given me and the encouragement to move forward. Now as his Chief Instructor of the Barton Satellite School I am passing down my knowledge to new students with the aim of being as supportive as Master R Smith and the other Instructors have been with me. Also the high standard of skills among the students at both Scunthorpe and Barton is inspiring to say the least and is proof of the hard work put in by all instructors and studens alike. Thank you sooooo much Twin Tigers Scunthorpe :-).
Been going for a year taking my young grandson, and can say that the club is a really family orientated environment and have worked hard to encourage all aspects of good behaviour and development, great place to be. Mick Dargue.

What can I say, AWESOMENESS, FANTASTIC, EXCELLENT, really is a great place to train. Family orientated school (kids toy room shows that). Always pushed to do your best and when your told your grading you know you have worked hard. When you pass grading you know you have earnt it. Always something going on outside of training, parties, bouncy castle days (for the kids)or a fund raiser for charity.Read More
