Established in 2001, Time and Space Driving Schools Ltd has many years of experience in the driving schools profession, and provides driving lessons, intensive driving courses and fleet training to clients throughout the South of England covering the counties of Somerset, Dorset, Hampshire and West Sussex; South Wales and the North East.

The group delivers a tailored range of intensive or semi-intensive driving courses to individuals, which are structured to the customers needs and not for the instructors' convenience. With lessons on a one to one basis, the customer is picked up and dropped off from home, and taught by a fully qualified experienced instructor with a high pass rate. So join the best value provider of intensive driving courses and pass your test in the quickest possible time.

With 15 fully qualified instructors, Time and Space Driving Schools Ltd has a growing team of qualified fully qualified high grade instructors with an average pass rate way above the national average.

The company was founded by Nick West having previously worked in medical sciences. Nick had a life changing experience on the roads some time ago and after improving his driving he joined a local advanced driver group and passed the examinations of the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) and the RoSPA Advanced Drivers Association (RoADAR), at the highest level. Having experienced the sheer enjoyment of being in total control of his vehicle and driving with a skill that enabled him to anticipate the actions of others, and appreciating the importance of this skill in collision prevention; he determined to teach such skills so that not only would the students pass their driving test, they would enjoy driving doing so with an attitude that would depend on anticipating others errors.

We organised driving lessons for our 17 year old daughter from September 2012 but she and we found her instructor, Nick, to be intolerent and bad tempered so it was not a good experience. We had to switch driving schools. There may be other instructors within this company who are less uptight but I would not recommend this driving school for young people based on our experience.

Company response : The bad feeling expressed in the above review, I believe came about from a misunderstanding over payment. At the time the pupil had completed and paid for 11 hours of a 25 hour driving course. At no point up to this time did I receive a single complaint from either parent regarding my behaviour, attitude, training style or lack of progress made by their daughter. At no time during her lessons did their daughter express any discomfort or distress. Having (I believed at the time) sorted out the misunderstanding, I then cashed a cheque for the remaining 14 hours of the course which was completed (as before) with not one complaint from either parents or daughter. Relations remained cordial throughout. I leave you to draw your own conclusions, however please read the remaining reviews should you be thinking of going elsewhere and you may also consider reading the other testimonials on the Time and Space Driving Schools web site that didn’t make it here.

I started learning to drive ages ago but abandoned it long before I got to a 'passable' level.
Having just finished university I decided I really wanted to get my driving sorted before beginning the next stage of my life.
Bob, my instructor boosted my confidence right from the first lesson (I was quite nervous about starting again). He was super-organised and always knew exactly what needed to happen next in my learning process. I was continually encouraged and after 20 hours I have now passed my test first time! So, thank you Bob for making driving enjoyable and helping me to pass!

After switching to Time and Space from another driving school, I was very impressed with the teaching. Although slightly more expensive than other driving schools, they do not rip you off, therefore save you money in the long run. A big thank you to Malcolm for getting me through my driving test first time :) Malcolm is very patient and helped me get rid of bad habits I had learnt from the other driving school. Highly recommended driving instructor. Emelye.

Lessons were well organized and the company was constantly in contact with me. I felt this was very good as communication between the company/driving instructor and the student is very important.
There was a problem that came up at one point, but the company really made up for it with great patience and understanding. I passed my test on a rainy day with a lot of traffic which shows that the teaching lessons I had gone through were of very good quality. Both instructors I had were very committed and I could tell it was very important for them to have me pass the driving test. I finally recommend this company because they show commitment to the students, and accompany you throughout the process of learning and passing the test. Once again, I was very satisfied with this company!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Malcolm (instructor) for getting my son, Steven, through his driving test first time. After months of lessons with another company and lots of bad habits to unlearn, you gave him the skills to pass. Thank you once again. Viv and Steven.
