The Woodford Halse School of Stage Dancing - Dance SchoolThe Woodford Halse School of stage dancing is the only dancing school for several miles that offers GCSE and A level equivalents and diploma examinations that are recognised both academically and within the world of dance by Graded Qualifications Alliance, Qualifications and Curriculum Authority, The Welsh Assembly Government, Council of Education, Examinations and Assessment, and the Council for Dance Education and Training. This can get non academic children access to university. Subjects taught include ballet, tap and modern-jazz dance, drama and speech, beauty and modelling, and yoga.
The Woodford Halse School of Stage Dancing is a member of British Theatre Dance Association. The school has been labelled by its own examination body as an excellent centre with a consistently high standard of organisation, facilities and delivery. Tuition is offered weeknights and weekends for all ages from two and a half years in Ballet, Tap, modern-jazz, drama and speech, elocution, beauty and modelling, singing, and yoga.
The examinations are recognised worldwide by all the major dance organisations and the mainstream academic establishments (schools, colleges and universities). They have had numerous successes with their students both in the U. K. And overseas.
