The Secret Garden is a beauty and aesthetic salon, established in a country garden cottage, set in the delightful rural village of Weston-on-Trent. With ample private parking.
The salon uses the most up-to-date techniques using the most modern equipment, conducted to the highest possible standards.
Decleor products are used for all facial and body treatments, a specialist in aroma-skincare, spas and treatments.
Advanced skincare, SkinCeuticals, dermatological science based products are used that provides quality to maintain and improve skin health.
Aesthetics, anti-ageing treatments are carried out by experienced and qualified specialist practitioners - these include dermal fillers, muscle relaxant therapies and sclerotherapy.
Vouchers are available all year round and are ideal gift for any special occasions.
The salon aims to supply clients with a professional beauty and holistic service and has two fully functioning treatment rooms. Alternative treatments available such as colonic hydrotherapy, semi-permanent make-up, and kinesiology. The expert staff advise clients about which treatments may be appropriate. The services that are offered include: manicures, pedicures, waxing, massage, hopi ear candles,
facials, body treatments and much more.
The salon uses top quality face and body products, with products to suit all skin types and ages. All products are appropriate for everyday use and can easily be used by all clients. The products are available over the counter from the salon.
The company is managed by Rachel Twiggs who has been involved in the beauty salon business for many years. Rachel Twiggs is well trained to oversee the company, having many years experience and previously working for Champneys, Springs, Virgin and I. D, Derby.
With a close-knit unit of 7 enthusiastic therapists, The Secret Garden has a professional team, qualified in beauty, holistics and aesthetics.
The Secret Garden has an expanding customer base, located in and around the Derby, Nottingham and Leicester area. Along with many clients bringing friends and family along from further afield.

Being in a stressed state on arrival and pressed for time, Rachel immediately put me at my ease. The treatment was heavenly and extremely relaxing. Very professional. The staff, environment and treatment are all first. I will certainly be recommending The Secret Garden to friends.

| 4.05 4.0 out of 5 - I treated my daughter and myself to a microdermabrasion. The treatment was fully explained to us and we were given advice and a leaflet on aftercare. The staff were very welcoming and the premises clean and comfortable. The therapist talked me through the treatment which left my skin feeling soft and glowing. I was a little pink but this had gone by the time I arrived home. I also had a non-invasive lip plumping treatment. I had it done just to see if it would make any difference and I was pleasantly surprised with the results.
We will definitely be visiting The Secret Garden again.

| 4.35 4.3 out of 5 - Had Leg and Bikini line waxing as my first treatment.I was very happy with the results, great value for money and i will definately return to try a pedicure or manicure. Very relaxing within the peaceful surroundings which adds to the treatment for me.

| 1.75 1.7 out of 5 - I had a back massage and a mini manicure and it cost me £67. £47 of that was from having my nails done! Ridiculously expensive and not great quality! The gel nails I had lasted ne 4 days before chipping so badly I had to paint over them. The prices shownon the Internet were totally different to what I ended up paying and it took my by surprise I didn't even have enough money with me. Staff were pleasant but weren't very helpful when I queried the price. I will not be going back again at all for my nails. Incredibly expensive for poor quality. I have paid ten pounds before and had nails left longer than this.
Company response : We are sorry that your gel polish has not lasted, we would like to offer you a complimentary gel polish, if you would like to get in touch with the salon on 01332 702250. We agree, and feel it should have lasted longer than 4days.
Original booking was for a back massage (£17) & Luxury Manicure (£27, but was discussed with the therapist to have a gel polish. Prices stated:- Orly Gel FX Polish (£25), mini manicure (£17), Nail Art (£5) & back massage (£17). We hope that this answers your comments, and look forward to hearing from you.
