The Guiding Light - Places of WorshipThe Guiding Light is a modern Spiritualist Church, offering a bright upbeat service and actively teaches and explains Spiritualism to those who wish to understand more.
The church meets every Friday from 7pm with the main service getting underway at 7. 30pm. The admission price is just three pounds, all of which is channeled back into the church to help pay for the cost of the hall and the upkeep and advertising of the church. The church is fully independent, but generally follows the basic format of most other spiritualist churches in the UK, just with a little more fun. A different medium visits each week to demonstrate their gifts of clairvoyance mediumship, and some mediums host the development workshop after the main service.
The Guiding Light Spiritualist church offers an interactive psychic development workshop following the main service and tea break. This optional workshop teaches basic techniques on developing the visitors own psychic gift. With lessons on Tarot, auras, healing, meditation and mediumship and many more, members of the audience can learn much from the experienced medims running the classes. The workshop is covered by the three pound entrance fee so visitors don't pay any extra for the lessons.
