The Children's Chopping Bus - Childrens ServicesFounded earlier this year, The Children's Chopping Bus seeks to provide a relaxed and safe answer to children's hairdressing, with the focus on providing a fun and original environment for families. The bus is currently located at the Self Store Centre in St James Ind Estate, Corby, all staff are trained in hairdressing as well as the art of amusing youngsters and are available for appointments for all members of the family.
Using play and an age appropriate environment The Children's Chopping Bus will help children to learn to have their hair cut, working with the children and being led by them, they do not believe in pinning children down and will never charge for anything less than a full haircut. With all the play and friendly staff available they are also able to offer parents a rare few minutes to themselves for a quick chop and bus is also available as an original idea for birthday parties with activities such as hair styling, nail painting and dancing.
The firm have a policy of trying to stock products that are fairtrade and organic wherever possible and can supply hand made solid shampoo, organic Pure shampoo that are both ideal for children's tender scalps. They have a number of products for nits ranging from 50p to 9. 50 and are one of the only suppliers in the area of the fabulous Nitty Gritty. For party animals they also stock a wide range of coloured party hairsprays and for those waiting for a haircut there is tea, coffee, hot chocolate, squash and sometimes even a homemade cake.
