The Charcoal People Ltd sells bamboo charcoal products via its online shop. Its current product range includes natural, eco-friendly bamboo charcoal water filters and bamboo charcoal pendants. The business is based in Kingston Upon Thames and was formed in 2007.

The company is owned and run by Michihiro Ishihara. Michihiro founded the Charcoal People with his wife Deborah in 2007, initially selling bamboo charcoal natural water filters.
