I needed a 40th wedding anniversary cake for my parents, having no idea what I wanted I was helped with numerous magazines and ideas at the Cake House and Sherry offered further ideas. It was finally agreed two swans with red roses and wording congratulating the couple would be made and I was over the moon. Everything could be eaten but my parents have kept the beautiful swans. I highly recommend The Cake House. Sherry made a brilliant cake exactly as i had described it to her when i ordered it, as a surprise for my husbands 40th. I can't think of many cake places that can make two topless ladies popping out of a cake clasping a big 4 0 !!!! Naturally, he loved it and the sponge was delicious too. Will definitely be back! The Cake House were asked to produce a special celebration /birthday cake for my grandson's first birthday. The cake was unique and personalised with a great attention to small details. It tasted delicious and was personally delivered to the venue. Everyone at the event was impressed with the cake and my daughter was thrilled.
The Cake House made a fantastic 1st birthday cake for our son Harry. Everyone at the celebration commented on how good it looked and tasted. Having had a general birthday brief the design was really intricate and thoughtful, for example including an Elmo knowing it is one of Harry's favourite toys.
I wanted to arrange a cake for my husband's 40th birthday. I looked on the internet to get some idea of prices and what was on offer. I rang a few companies, but they weren't very helpful - they seemed very vague on prices and what they could do. I chose The Cake House because they were very helpful when I spoke to them, offering ideas and advice, helping me decide on the style of cake and the decoration and offering me a reasonable price. My cake arrived on time, as promised, and looked spectacular - a miniature (edible) race car on a race track in the shape of the numbers 40, with a finishing flag and not too many candles!- fantastic - my husband loved it. Thank you Thank you Thank you. I will definitely use you again.
It was a surprise birthday cake that really 'blew me away!' The attention to detail was second to none, resulting in a bespoke birthday cake that was both tasty, and impressive to look at!!
My birthday cake was beautifully decorated to show my love of Mulberry handbags. The colours were great, matched my dress (!) and everyone commented on the intricate decoration which was fabulous. All delivered on time and plus points for being in cahoots with my husband and keeping it all a secret!
Ordering the cake was a last minute idea, cake was made and delivered within the time frame. cake was brilliantly decorated and tasted fab, my son loved it and thought it was cool. despite bad weather(snow) was delivered in time for the birthday celebrations.
