Bought my first Taylor T5 Guitar off Symphony and I was amazed that there are still shops who really care about their Customers. Service was outstanding, the Staff went that extra yard to make the sale a happy one. Yes, its an expensive Guitar but I was given a nice surprise when I paid for it, I was charged considerably less than the online shops. I am made up and have already decided that my local shop will be my first port of call in future. Thank you Symphony :).Read More

Purchased a set of KRK 6G3 monitors and I am just purchasing a Focusrite 18i20 audio interface rack unit, great service, always friendly and lots of free advice and recommendations when needed. Dave always seems to have time to help if I am not sure about something or require advice on which bit of kit I need (or should I say 'NEED'). Highly recommend this shop, very friendly and knowledgeable staff who go the extra mile when needed. Only criticism is I give all my spare cash to Dave :-).Read More

I would like to congratulate Dave and Michelle on their high quality of products and service, also their ability to keep secrets. Having gone in there to purchase a present for my son for Christmas they never even hinted that my son and my Wife had been in previously to get my Christmas present. Thanks again, the guitar and amp are great All I need to do now is master it. We needed a repair on our acoustic guitar amplifier and keyboard. Symphony Music could not have done any more to make us feel welcome and valued. They loned us an amp and a power unit for the keyboard whilst ours was being fixed and even threw in a cup of tea while we were there! Amazing service! We will use this service over and over again.

I have just purchased a new Taylor 314 ce guitar from Symphony Music and I have to say that David and Michelle Bamford(owners of Symphony Music)were an absolute delight to deal with; both understand and deliver an exceptionally high level of customer service by understanding a customer's needs and responding to those needs in a very relaxed, informed and non pressurised way. In particular, David possesses a great deal of knowledge about Taylor Guitars which helped me choose the perfect guitar for my needs.
I've been going to this shop for a long time, and iv purchased every guitar I have ever owned from Symphony Music each guitar was exceptional! and when I wore my guitar frets down they offered to repair it and restring it for free, During my experiences at Symphony Music I was learning under one of the greatest guitar teachers I know, Steve(cant say I can spell his last name so il leave it out) The service is amazing it is always warm and welcoming and I cant ever think of a time where I have felt unwanted, They have a wide range of products so there is a guitar in there for everybody. I just want to say Thank you Dave for all the extra work you and your staff has done for me.Read More

I live in Chester but was born and bred in Wigan. I had bought an Epiphone Les Paul from Dawsons in Chester earlier in the year, but found myself lusting after an ebony SG G-400, which I saw Symphony had in stock. I called in on a busy Saturday afternoon and was extremely impressed with the knowledgeable and friendly service I received, even though I am a relative novice. I do not know the name of the man I dealt with, but well done Symphony!I would happily buy from them again.
PS 15 months later and I've bought a Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster and a Fender Stratocaster from Symphony, and as usual received superb service on both occasions from David and Richard who always greet me warmly when I call in. However, the most impressive part was when I had some problems with the electrics in my Epiphone SG - a manufacturing defect. They could not do enough to sort things out for me and that was very much appreciated.Read More

Fantastic music shop. I have never had better service, advice and a friendly atmosphere. I have bought, traded and sold many items here and would not get my instruments and accessories from anywhere else. Thanks Dave.

After suffering the 'dawsons experience' a few times I thought I'd try somewhere out of town, great personal service, nobody bothered me, Dave set me up upstairs and just left me to it, bought the epiphone DOT, after having a chat about a few guitars with someone who knows his stuff, would definitely recommend thanks.

Recently bought a new Squire Vintage Modified V bass from Symphony for £273. I part exchanged an Ebenezer SR-300 which I got a great price on. Dave even matched the internet price on the bass which I was surprised by! With the fender rebate added I got a cracking' deal. Will definately be buying from Symphony again.
Thanks much Dave!
