Although established recently in 2007, Symphony Music has rapidly grown to become the premier music store for the Wigan and St Helens regions.

Founded by a small family partnership it has voted for the second year running as a top-three UK retailer by the Government's Arts Council.

Incorporating tuition and recording services alongside its wide retail portfolio of instruments, accessories and sheet music, Symphony is now a celebrated centre for music in the region.

Symphony offers a wide portfolio of products and are main dealers of the following brands:
Fender * Fender USA * C. F. Martin * Crafter * Hamer * Ovation * Takamine * Trevor James * Line6 * Boss * Roland * Admira * Yamaha * Stentor * Aria * Hagstrom... And many, many more.
With the largest range of guitars, sheet music and digital pianos in the Wigan, Leigh and St Helens area they are ideally suited for your next instrument purchase.

Symphony are also the region's selected retailer for the Government Take It Away scheme; the scheme that offers interest-free payment plans on musical instrument purchases. Furthermore, they have just been awarded the title of 'Take it away Retailer of the Year 2009' at this year's prestigious MIA Award ceremony in London.

I purchased an Epiphone Explorer over the phone and had it delivered to me inside two days. Excellent service. I contacted Dave via email prior to my purchase and I was really impressed by the speed of his response. I will definately purchase from Symphony Music in the future. Thanks again Dave. Regards. I have just purchased a new Taylor 314 ce guitar from Symphony Music and I have to say that David and Michelle Bamford(owners of Symphony Music)were an absolute delight to deal with; both understand and deliver an exceptionally high level of customer service by understanding a customer's needs and responding to those needs in a very relaxed, informed and non pressurised way. In particular, David possesses a great deal of knowledge about Taylor Guitars which helped me choose the perfect guitar for my needs.

I've been going to this shop for a long time, and iv purchased every guitar I have ever owned from Symphony Music each guitar was exceptional! and when I wore my guitar frets down they offered to repair it and restring it for free, During my experiences at Symphony Music I was learning under one of the greatest guitar teachers I know, Steve(cant say I can spell his last name so il leave it out) The service is amazing it is always warm and welcoming and I cant ever think of a time where I have felt unwanted, They have a wide range of products so there is a guitar in there for everybody. I just want to say Thank you Dave for all the extra work you and your staff has done for me.

I live in Chester but was born and bred in Wigan. I had bought an Epiphone Les Paul from Dawsons in Chester earlier in the year, but found myself lusting after an ebony SG G-400, which I saw Symphony had in stock. I called in on a busy Saturday afternoon and was extremely impressed with the knowledgeable and friendly service I received, even though I am a relative novice. I do not know the name of the man I dealt with, but well done Symphony!I would happily buy from them again.

Fantastic music shop. I have never had better service, advice and a friendly atmosphere. I have bought, traded and sold many items here and would not get my instruments and accessories from anywhere else. Thanks Dave.

After suffering the 'dawsons experience' a few times I thought I'd try somewhere out of town, great personal service, nobody bothered me, Dave set me up upstairs and just left me to it, bought the epiphone DOT, after having a chat about a few guitars with someone who knows his stuff, would definitely recommend thanks.

Recently bought a new Squire Vintage Modified V bass from Symphony for £273. I part exchanged an Ebenezer SR-300 which I got a great price on. Dave even matched the internet price on the bass which I was surprised by! With the fender rebate added I got a cracking' deal. Will definately be buying from Symphony again.
Thanks much Dave!

My recent experiences in buying an acoustic guitar and a cello from Symphony Music in Wigan mirror all of the other reviews. Everything was first class - service, choice, advice, price, atmosphere, friendliness etc. In the UK the customer experience is often suboptimal but my experience at Symphony Music has restored my hope. I will be recommending this shop at every opportunity and will be back many, many times in the future.

I was looking for a Taylor guitar and I couldn't believe the deal that I got from Dave at Symphony. I was offered £100 for my Japanese 12 String Stratocaster at Rimmers music but Dave at Symphony offered me £360 and that was before I had made a decision on which guitar I was going to buy. If you are reading this message whoever you are I have to say that Symphony's part ex policy is both fair and transparent. As for the deal then a series 8 Taylor guitar was what I decided on and at a good price too!. The store has a vast amount of musical instruments Thanks Dave, I will be back for more goodies. In a nutshell, a fair deal and a good one too!
