Swiftclean Midlands Ltd - Water TreatmentEstablished in 1982 Swiftclean, members of the Building Services Research Information Association (BSRIA), provide Air, Ventilation and Water hygiene services to various organisations within both the public and private sectors. This includes surveys and risk assessments, as well as ongoing monitoring, cleans, disinfections and remedial works in accordance with the companys’ registration with the Code of Conduct (COC) for the control of Legionella bacteria in water systems.
Both the Head Office in Essex and Midlands Division based here at Leicester are able to offer extremely competitive rates for these works. All are carried out by crews of highly skilled, assiduous environmental hygiene technicians nationwide.
Swiftclean also employ a team of Surveyors, who are experienced in all aspects of building services hygiene and are Water Management Society (WMS) trained. All Swiftclean Surveyors are competent in conducting water hygiene risk assessments in accordance with HSE L8 requirements, and also qualified with regards to COSHH Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) testing.
Within Swiftclean, Mr. Stuart Wilson BSc Hons MSc M. W. M Soc, is a member of the Council of Water Management Society and the Royal Institute of Public Health and Hygiene.
Gary Nicholls, Group Managing Director and Paul Downing were founder members of the HVAC’s 1998 working group responsible for the publication of TR / 17, now superseded by TR / 19 – Guide to Good Practice and Guidance – Internal Cleanliness of Ventilation Systems.
