Mark started his photographic career in 1990 as a camera operator for an independent video company in Manchester, UK. Since then he has directed the photography of a number of short films in Brighton; worked as a high-society wedding photographer; a camera operator for sports and corporate events; and an official photographer for the 1999 Labour Party Conference in Bournemouth.
Presently, Mark lives in Ipswich, Suffolk where his portfolio is primarily dedicated to photographs of local landscapes and still life. The philosophy of his work is to capture places that people know and love, in a way that will hold the viewers attention and provide them with some space to reflect. Currently, the portfolio has images of Felixstowe, Levington, Rushmere St. Andrew, Lower Holbrook, Shotley Gate, Waldringfield and beyond.
