Step On Stage Academy of Performing Arts is a small business that provides drama and music classes, holiday workshops, nursery drama classes and drama birthday parties to children and adults throughout the local area. The company, which is situated in Twickenham, has 10 years experience in the Performing Arts and education sectors.

The company is managed by Emma Louise Tinniswood who has been involved in the Performing Arts business for many years. After completing a Drama and Music degree at Royal Holloway University, she completed her teaching qualification at the University of London and continued her acting training, undertaking varying courses at Guildford School of Acting and at the Arts Educational. She is currently undertaking an MA in Directing for young people at the Central School of Speech and Drama as well as studying voice and singing under the tuition of Janet Shell and Leonora Keogh. Having previously worked for 8 years in a local preparatory and secondary school teaching both Drama and Music, Emma Louise Tinniswood is in a perfect position to run the company.

The company are members of the Society of Teachers of Speech and Drama (STSD). The company offers a range of Drama classes for children aged from 3 years which explore Drama, Music and Creative mvoement. They are passionate about the importance of the arts in children's lives and seek to help promote expression, self-esteem, confidence, children's creativity and imaginations as well as develop communication skills. Step On Stage offers a range for 3 - 16 year olds as well as adults in Twickenham and in Surrey. They enter students for the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) examinations which can be taken from the age of 5 up to Diploma level, as well as for local Performing Arts Festivals and the school produces shows at Christmas and in the summer.

Step On Stage also run a range of holiday workshops and Summer schools - from half day workshops to 3 day courses. They also run Drama and Dance themed birthday parties for 4 - 8 year olds which includes a full party service if required.
