With schools in Brentwood, Leigh-on-Sea and Wickford, Stagecoach South East Essex is a well established part time performing arts school. The school offers group tuition in dance, drama and singing to students, aged 4 to 17, from throughout South East Essex. Set-up in 1997, the company has many years experience in running performing arts schools. Part of a national network of more than 600 schools in the UK and abroad, Stagecoach South East Essex has experienced teachers who will encourage each child to perform to the best of their ability.

Stagecoach South East Essex has three schools, in Brentwood, Leigh-on-Sea and Wickford.

Brentwood school is based at Sawyers Hall College, Brentwood on Fridays from 4. 30 to 7. 30pm for the main students (6-17 years) and 4. 15 to 5. 45pm for the Early Stages (4-7 years).

Wickford School is based at Beauchamps School, Wickford on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm for the main students (6-17 years) and 9. 30 to 11. 00am for the Early stages (4-7 years).

Southend School is based at Blenheim School in Leigh-on-Sea on Saturdays from 2. 30 to 5. 30pm (main school) and 2. 45 to 4. 15pm for the E.

With qualified and experienced teachers, Stagecoach South East Essex has a professional team, well practiced in teaching performing arts. All the teachers have performed professionally on stage and TV as well as being inspirational tutors.

Parents receive written reports twice yearly and each school is independently inspected annually. For peace of mind Stagecoach retains the services of one of the UK's leading Child Protection Agencies. All adults involved in the school are CPA registered.

The school Principal is Tessa Davies who has worked in Performing Arts for most of her life. She is also an experienced director and has worked with children on a number of shows, including Grease, The Wiz and many Pantomimes. Tessa is keen to encourage young people to take part in theatre opportunities as she considers them to be an excellent way to develop their self confidence.
