Based in Sandwich, Sing With Confidence is an innovative company offering an exciting voice development programme to clients throughout Kent and the UK. Established in 1993 the company has over 14 years experience in the vocal and instrumental tuition sector.

The firm provides clients with a professional tuition programme either on-site in individual or group lessons or by telephone or on-line. The expert staff help clients understand and use the programme effectively. The service is designed to develop voices to their full potential every time.

The programme is based on 'Calisthenics for the Singing Voice' providing for singers the scale, velocity, and agility studies so widely available for all other instruments. Using carefully selected vowel and octave-spanning melodic patterns sung in ascending or descending key changes across overlapping pitch ranges they will enhance vocal range and intonation, and, with a particular use of the tongue, will aid in smoothing-out the natural break-points occurring in both male and female voices. The system is supported by backing tracks in audioCD / MP3 and CDrom formats.

Sing with Confidence is tutored by William Hodgson the author of Calisthenics for the Singing Voice. He is highly qualified and experienced in the fields of music and science.

Sing With Confidence has a satisfied network of clients, situated in Wellington, New Zealand (where the programme was developed) and now in Kent ranging from natural singers who greatly extended their capabilities, to those who thought they were 'tone-deaf' but found themselves singing arias by Handel and also included pop / rock singers whose performances were greatly enhanced. Although based on classical techniques the aim of the programme is to create a voice which can sing in all styles.
