Founded in 2006, Signal Driving School has many years' experience in the driving instructors sector, with the focus on providing driving lessons to clients throughout the local areas of Cambridge and Croydon. The company is located in two main areas Cambridge covering local areas such as Huntingdon and Chatteris as well as South Croydon, also covering Sutton and Bromley.
Signal Driving School only use BMW Minis with the very latest dual controls. Every vehicle has air conditioning and power assisted controls to make your learning experience one to remember. It is a strict policy at Signal Driving School that none of the Instructors smoke in these vehicles, and all are cleaned and maintained to the very highest standard.
Signal know that everyone is different so all driving lessons are tailored to the requirements of each individual. All the driving instructors at Signal have years of experience and with their friendly manner know how to put the most nervous pupils at ease.
Signal Driving School has a professional team of ADI Driving Instructors, qualified to a high standard. Grade 4,5 and 6.

I am very grateful to my instructor Stephen Davis who was always patient with me and who was able to explain every aspect of driving that the examiner is looking for and that would give me fair chance of passing. I enjoyed the lessons and the manner in which they were given.

I am an older learner and had previously had some very stressful experiences of trying to learn in a manual car with instructors that didn't seem to understand my concerns or care about how anxious I was. Signal were different from the very start - they listen carefully to your past experiences and make sure that things are handled differently if necessary. For me it was a whole new world of driving lessons! I felt more confident than I ever had, after just a few lessons. The car is a brilliant one to learn in and Simon was a great tutor. He was punctual, polite, friendly and flexible when necessary. You are not treated as just another pupil - everyone is important to Signal Driving School. Although we were snowed off driving for a while, Simon always managed to fit in extra lessons around my schedule. I never thought I would ever pass my driving test, let alone enjoy driving - but now I have my own little car and I love it!! Thanks Simon (and Signal).

| 4.75 4.7 out of 5 - I took automatic lessons on/off over the course of 8 months and was very happy with the service provided by Signal. My instructor was always on time and very flexible with lesson changes considering that I have a toddler! I definitely got my money's worth as I passed first time round. The lessons were structured and closer to the test, I was allowed input into the content and worked on things I felt least comfortable about - like reverse parking! The routes taken during lessons are those that could be used during the test and lessons are broken up in between driving and theory should you require it. For example, you can ask for an explanation of a manoeuvre and it will be broken down for you in a very simple way that works. I was advised to get my theory done as soon as possible and once I did, the roads started to make much more sense. Overall, I was very happy with the service and professionalism displayed by my instructor.
