Sign2Music - Baby ClassSign2music is baby signing company, based in Northern Ireland, offering classes and workshops to families throughout the co down area and beyond.
Enabling children and their carers to communicate with each other before speech develops, sign2music provides classes and workshops which are both educational and lots of fun. Research has shown that signing with your child will not only aid communication prior to speech, but also has many other benefits.
Deirdre McLaughlin is the Sign2Music presenter. She used signs with all her children, twins aged 11 and is currently benefitting massively from the use of signs with her 14 month old daughter. She is qualified at stage 1 and 2 level in British Sign Language. Classes run for 10 consecutive weeks, each lasting 1 hour. Classes share information about 'baby signing', the necessary signs, lots of songs, games and activities aimed to support your child's development. There is also an opportunity to socialise with other parents and children. Workshops (for individuals or groups) last around 2 hours and give all the infomation, signs and activities necessary to start signing with your baby immediately.
