The better way is simply paying for your studio time, not each individual picture. This means customers get all the pictures taken by the photographer during a photo shoot and customers do not need to worry about choosing the best pictures because it will cost to much to have them all. ShinyBlackApple don't see the point in retaining pictures of your family, children even pets, they want their customers to enjoy all the pictures.
All photographs taken during a photo shoot will be given to customers on a DVD in Hi Resolution, no copyright is retained so customers are able to print their own pictures, which in todays world is very cheap and easy.

My family and I had a fun filled hour long photo session with Helen. We never expected it to result in the quality of photo's we saw when we went for the viewing. They were simply amazing. Richard spent time talking us through the pictures and the options for printing. Never once did he do a hard sell. I would recommend their service to anyone. For the price I can't imagine you could get a better family photo experience anywhere.
Had a photo shoot of my baby, Rich was great and got some fantastic shots, even with his constant dribbling!!! I received a DVD and now looking forward to my canvas! Great value for money. I will defiantly recommend to others.
This is our second family photo shooting (me, my husband and our daughter) with rick and I thought the pictures will be the same as last time. But rick is doing his job very well. He always has ideas and something new. We had a great time and the pictures are beyond all expectations. We really enjoy the nice atmosphere. Rick is very good with Kids. You always get great pictures with him. We will definitely get a family shooting every year. Thank you Rick!
We went for the Premier package at the Lymm studio in April 2013 for a family shoot with our 5 month old daughter. Helen was very pleasant and made us feel very comfortable in front of the lens straight away. Rich was very honest and open that they did not manage to get the full 75 shots required for the Premier package and kindly offered to give us another free Starter package as well as the 55 shots they did manage to get on DVD... He also converted these 55 shots all into black and white for us so we ended up with 110 shots on the DVD!! Can't thank Rich enough as the shots are excellent high quality and very pleased with the end results!! Will also be getting a few canvasses from him as they are great value and awesome quality compared to the likes of boots etc. Will highly recommend ShinyBlackApple to everyone.
Fun photoshoot for your newborn. Professional and very caring with my daughter. I would suggest having the photoshoot before 10 days old so you can get the best pictures. (babies are more sleepy) Gorgeous pictures.
I had a newborn photo shoot done with Shinyblackapple in their Lymm Studio with Helen and Rich in February 2013. Baby Roman was 2 weeks old. The studio was very modern and bright and very inviting with a relaxed atmosphere. Helen and Rich were very welcoming offering tea and coffee as I got Baby Roman settled. It took about an hour to get him fed and settled and ready for the photos but all this is included in the premium package. Once he was settled Helen and Rich worked very quickly snapping away and putting him in different positions and outfits and props, I was amazed they didn't wake him up! They were even open to suggestions and put across what they thought would look good in the photos. We were all done by 40 minutes of Roman falling asleep and must have taken over 90 photos. I was invited back after a week or two to view the photos once Rich had edited them all to very high standards and I must say I was blown away with the snaps... They are amazing and i'm glad he was able to capture these precious moments for me to keep forever. All the photos were put on dvd for me and I choose 2 prints that were included in the price and offered good prices for extra prints and canvasses. Overall I was very pleased with the professional service that was offered by Shinyblackapple and having done my research prior to choosing a company, I was glad I chose them. The prices are reasonable and you definitely get more for your money compared to other companies out there. I have already let Rich know that I will be back for the family package they do when Roman gets a bit older. Thank you Rich and Helen for photographing my little boy and i'm over the moon with the photos that I have.

We had a great time at Shiny Black Apple. The session was relaxed and despite a grumpy 14 month old, the photos turned out brilliantly. The package was brilliant value for money and the real selling point for us was that we got to take home the photos on disc which meant we could print them off as and when we wanted. There was no pressure to buy extras and we will definitely be returning in the future, thank you.
We did our photoshoot with Rich and James before Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were made to feel at home and the children soon settled into it and had a great time. Rich and James supplied some fun accessories and we also took along a few things of our own, which gave us a great variety of shots which showed the children's real characters. The after shoot service was great and Rich was very patient and allowed me to make any tweaks I wanted and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. Also loved the flexibility of being able to get soft copies of the photos, but the team also being able to do some fabulous canvases for us. Overall fantastic photos and a great service.
A most wonderful experience having our daughter photographed for a stunning canvas. I cannot stress how gifted, friendly, professional and accommodating ShinyBlackApple were. Without question I would recommend to anyone. To pick the best of the exceptional photographs taken was difficult - a testament to the talent of the staff.
