Formed in 2007, Sentry IT provides Computer Technical Support and Repairs to small businesses and home users throughout South East Wales.
Services range from simple upgrades and in-home computer support including troubleshooting, internet and email setup, wireless networks and system installation, to more complex laptop and desktop computer diagnostics and repairs as well as data backup and recovery services.
Prices are sensible and highly competitive, kept this way by not having any expensive offices or workshop space to pay for.
Having many years experience in IT the founder of Sentry IT holds numerous qualifications including:

- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+.
Sentry IT has an expanding customer base, situated throughout South East Wales from LLantrisant to Monmouth and Newport to Tredegar, customer types include home users, property developers, construction companies, pubs, restaurants, financial advisors and charities. Sentry IT is owned by Michael Barnes who has been focusing on the computer and internet sector for many years. Having previously worked for a large blue chip organisation and a South Wales IT support business, he is more than qualified to provide computer support services to local businesses and home users.

 5.0 out of 5 | i had two lap tops repaired and restored, a wireless adaptor installed to my main pc, and then and then a complete reset and update on my main pc . i also had anti virus software installed on all three machines.
the gentleman who carried out the work was extremely helpful, and the work was done very quickly . much quicker than i expected . especially considering the snowy weather conditions, nothing was to much trouble for him . i would recommend Sentry IT to everyone . They were excellent .

Within 1 hour of contacting the company my P.C. had been removed, the fee, and services where explained to me over the phone. When Mike the engineer called to collect the P.C. I found him to be very helpful He explained exactly what would be required inorder to remove the Malware infections etc and agreed to return the P.C. within 24 hours. I knew exactly what I was paying for and there where no nasty shocks when Mike returned my P.C., happily without any infections and working quicker the next morning.
