Photo uploaded by Mr M Stewart - click for a bigger pictureAlan and his guys did a fantastic job at installing our windows and doors I highly recommend them on that factor alone.

He also saved me money and a lot of hassle by informing me of the in's and out's of the likes of weatherseal and St Andrews Glass which is actually just a sister company of weatherseal, thankfully I was able to cancel them!!

I am more than willing to show people the quality of their workmanship!

We had two doors and four windows installed. The doors and windows are of excellent quality. The workmanship of the fitters was second to none with no mess at all every thing at the end was cleared away. Alan was there through out the fitting to answer any queries. Well done all round Seaforth!

AS I said in the review on Seaforth's website ( which I clearly didn't check very well; I was "pounced upon" rather than ponced upon and the ordeal from the other company lasted 2 1/2 hours!!!)we hadn't really been in the market for new windows, but some that were 30 years old were rotting and others were tired and the glass unit had fogging. I had replaced the units in two, but I kept dropping putty everywhere and it was a drawn out nightmare of a job!
I had filled out an online "quotation" form, and about a week later ( after we had suffered the Weatherseal ordeal, Alan phoned and promised a straightforward, no bull**** visit and a quote would follow. None of the scams and techniques he outlines as being used by his competitors would be involved.
He was true to his word, and the quotation for nine new windows, triple glazed and with energy saving glass came in at over £1K less than his nearest rival.
He kept us informed about the fitting dates, despite his window supplier going into administration, and a date in early December was agreed.
As one would expect, the weather went downhill from there, and during the three days taken to fit the windows, we had hail, snow, frost, freezing gales and rain.
Stewart and David just got on with the job in a cheery manner, and nothing was too much trouble. Short daylight hours and they STILL did it in three days, despite a 160 mile return journey each day. They vacuumed and cleaned up after each day, and the end result is great, with no re-decoration necessary.
Alan - the company owner) phoned each day to check we were happy with progress, and at the end of the job he paid us his third visit to check that we were happy with everything.
We already notice a difference in the warmth and lack of draughts, never mind the appearance.
All in all, an excellent job from a small local(-ish) firm whose aim is to supply quality service at an exceptional price, and in my view, they succeed!
I would have no hesitation in recommending Seaforth Windows to anyone looking for a good company who does a good job.
Forget the "big boys" and their hard sell, go with Alan, Stewart and David. You won't regret it.

Having lived in our Croft for some 43 years and experiencing the hard winters of 2010 and 2011 we decided that we should upgrade our heating and insulation. We did quite a bit of research into double glazing and requested three quotes from various local firms. Having received a visit from Alan Duncan we decided to choose Seaforth Windows on the basis that he gave an excellent straightforward presentation of the ins and outs of double glazing and provided a competitive quotation for some 10 windows.

The installation was completed in the space of 2 1/2 days without any problems - he has excellent fitters who were very attentive to their work and and the A rated windows using toughened glass are extremely pleasing in their appearance. It should be noted that work on old buildings such as ours requires a degree of expertise as measurements often have to be "massaged" in order for things to fit.

We have no hesitation in recommending Alan and his team at Seaforth Windows to anyone considering the installation of double glazing. In conclusion we would say that one factor we found to be really excellent was that we were telephoned daily during the work in progress to see how it was progressing - it is refreshing these days to find such attention to detail.

Alan and his team from Seaforth came and fitted 13 windows for us in under 3 days and we are delighted with the quality of the work and the price. The joiners were cheery, polite and tidy and hit the ground running from the first morning until completion. We can recommend them without hesitation. Terry & Evelyn Cruickshank, Kemnay.

The service from Alan Duncan and his team at Seaforth Windows has been excellent from start to finish. Being a holiday home, we were miles away from proceedings but Alan kept us fully informed of progress and made the whole procedure very smooth. The windows and doors are of superb quality and we are more than pleased with how much they have enhanced our property.

A small follow-up hitch (entirely of our own making) was swiftly sorted out by Alan who clearly doesn't rest until he knows we are 100 per cent happy.

We recommend Seaforth Windows without any hesitation.
