The ladies are experienced enough to run, look after and take good care of the business, having previously owned their own businesses in fashion designing and making knitwear and wholesaling.
Before you say anything, yes I am a man, and I love shopping for my girlfriend in Scarecrow and occasionally pick up a hat or two for myself. She has been shopping there for years now, and whenever I need to get her a birthday present, gift or just a something I always manage to find something here. The ladies are always a great help with ideas and suggestions if I am struggling and we have never had one present not loved.
Very cute and very different to the high street. I was looking for a particular 1950's outfit for a party, my Birthday in fact, and someone recommended this shop to me. Amazingly they had everything I could have wished for, even though everything is new, it has a retro feel to it. I came out with a new dress, petticoat, gloves, heels a bag and jewellery, perfect. Saved me trawling the westend and the service was so good, they are very helpful with ideas. A+.
I have been a Crouch End resident for a few years now and came across this fab little shop 4 years ago. I am now hooked.... Not great for ones bank balance, but you can always find something cheap and cheerful here too, when your finances are not great. Lovely vibes, lovely ladies and well worth a visit. I think sadly not as many people know about it as it is slightly out from the center of Crouch End.

Love! Love! Love! Scarecrow boutique is run by two yummy ladies who not only keep up to date with the latest trends but will also take the time to find what's best and what suits their customers. From casual dresses to stunning evening outfits, jewelry to handbags, scarves to underwear you will dig out an amazing one off piece nestled alongside the daily staples like jeans and t-shirts. I always feel comfortable trying on clothing as I know I will get an honest answer as to what looks good and what doensn't as well as fabulous suggestions on how to get the best out of my purchase. It' the total shopping experience from friendly smiles with an odd cuppa thrown in to an amazing outfit at a reasonable price! Now they are online too which means I can browse their gorgeous stuff from the comfort of my own home if the weather is too wet to travel! Crouch Ends best kept secret, just don't go buying up all the good stuff!

I am a local in Crouch End and love the fact that there are still lots of small independant shops in the area. I must admit I kept this shop a secret for a while, as I loved it so much and because they do lots of 1 off pieces, I didnt want my friends to get them before me. The owners are lovely mum and daughter, although they look like sisters. They can find me pieces that we suit me really well and create a whole look for you in ways you wouldnt have thought. You must visit and yes they now have a fab website too. Susy.
