The Sandville Hotel is a family run and managed hotel situated 1 minutes walk away from the Porthcawl seafront and the Grand Pavilion, home of many great shows and concerts as well as within short walking distance of the town centre, bars, clubs and restaurants.
All rooms have are furnished to a very high standard with tea and coffee making facilities and plasma televisions throughout. All of the rooms are non-smoking and are en-suite.
The Sandville Hotel is home to Bar 19/cafe lounge providing a a comprehensive array of drinks, with the theme being of a sport nature, with a fine collection of memorabilia.
As well as being home to a fine beach resort Porthcawl has many other activities on offer including, walking, cycling, scuba diving, surfing, fishing, swimming, skateboarding, paintballing, quad biking, climbing, rugby, football, shopping and the golf courses such as The Royal Golf, Pyle and Kenfig, The Grove are all available near by.

I found the staff friendly but the owners oppresive.
