In both cases he did a very professional job, gave sound advice about fabric requirements and collected and delivered the items promptly. He adhered to quotations which were very reasonable for the work carried out. I would have no hesitation in recommending this upholsterer and will contact him again when another need arises for re-upholstery of my furniture.

He understood our need to release the chairs to him in a controlled manner depending on the bookings in the hall, and also that on occasions we needed him to work extremely fast when all chairs were needed for a big event. The price of the job was very reasonable, and the standard of work consistently good. I can honestly recommend his services

Our sofa bed and rocking chair were looking tired, dated and in desperate need of a refurbishment. The contact with Stuart Williams proved to be an excellent move. From our initial call to an on-site visit he was able to advise on all matters including material requirements avoiding inferior quality which long term could have been more costly.
The sofa-bed spring system was dismantled in situ and the carcass and cushions were arranged to be removed to his workshop. Following its quick return and reassembly the finished product has surpassed all our expectations. The quality of workmanship was second to none and it was pleasing to receive such a personal service with old fashioned values. We have no qualms in recommending Stuart and will return to him in the future for further upholstery requirements.
