Rotorflush Filters - Water SystemsRotorflush Filters is a company that designs and manufactures innovative Self Cleaning water filters and submersible pumps with integral self cleaning inlet screens. These unique products are providing a cost effective solution to problems of pump, valve and nozzle blockages in many systems.
Its main customers are contractors to the water industry, pump and filter installers, irrigation and process engineers. Rotorflush prides itself on customer service and will work with customers to provide bespoke solutions to their filtration problems.
The range of Rotorflush Filterpumps combines a submersible pump with an integral self cleaning suction screen. This enables the pumps to work in fluids containing appreciable levels of supended solids.

They are used in sewage works to provide washwater from raw sewage to final effluent.
Also in sewage works and factories to provide a filtered sample to analysers.
On farms to pump effluent from livestock units for irrigation.
To supply water from ponds and rivers for irrigation.

Jim Hosford the owner of Rotorflush Filters originally invented the principle of the self cleaning filters, now manufactured, in 1994 when he was a dairy farmer. He had a problem pumping effluent from the dairy unit. The filter supplied with the pumping unit blocking on an hourly basis. The filter he designed, worked so successfully that soon other farmers wanted them, it has since has won several awards.
The company has come a long way since then and now manufactures over 30 self cleaning filtration products to many industries in the UK and abroad.
Rotorflush Filters has an expanding customer base, located throughout the UK, including Water Utilities.
