Formed in 1995, Rhythm Time has many years' experience in the childrens music, and provides quality music classes to pre-school children throughout the region. The company is situated in Scholes (Leeds), but provides classes right across Leeds everyday of the week.

Rhythm Time makes sure that fun and education comes first and provides three age-appropriate courses starting as tiny babies from only a few weeks old.

Children sing, dance and play lots of quality percussion instruments. The classes incorporate listening, rhymes, exercise and exploration but mainly everyone has fun.

Rhythm Time believes that every child is musical but that a young musical mind cannot develop in isolation. Rhythm Time offers classes that nurture and develop this innate musical ability.

Helping children to develop their innate musical ability every week, Rhythm Time provides children with professional music classes. With quality instruments and tuition and enthusiastic staff, the classes are designed to be fun.

Rhythm Time offers three courses:

babies 0-15months

toddlers 15months - 3 years

Pre-school 3 years - 5 years

Classes are for half an hour and everyone has fun. Children learn at a very early age that making music with others is a wonderful, exciting experience.

Classes are held at venues across Leeds including:

Monday - Pudsey and Roundhay

Tuesday - Barwick in Elmet

Wednesday - Morley and Horsforth

Thursday - Scholes

Friday - Alwoodley and Horsforth.

The company is managed by Elizabeth Hawkhead who has been involved in the children's music trade for many years. Elizabeth Hawkhead is experienced enough to manage the company, having previously worked for a large blue chip company.
