Came twice to replace a washing machine seal. Failed to call me to advise they were coming as agreedbon the phone. Carried out the work in my absence and claimed it was repaired when in fact it is not. Refuse to come out to resolve the problem and insist the job has been carried out properly. Stay clear of these cheating liars.

I am disappointed that you feel you have received an unsatisfactory level of service from our company, as we pride ourselves in delivering a first class service and take all issues of dissatisfaction very seriously. I will be personally calling you to discuss the service delivered so far and how moving forward we will deliver a service the company would expect.

My beko washing machine broke back in early june. It was out of warranty so had to go via the retailer (currys) to get it repaired under the sale of goods act. Currys made us use repaircare to try and fix the washing machine this meant we had to pay £119 ourselves which would be repayed on confirmation it was a machine fault. The engineer arrived within a week inspected the washing machine and confirmed it was a manufacturers fault and ordered 3 parts to be replaced. Well after 6 weeks of waiting for parts and ringing repaircare and currys to find out what was going on. We were finally offered a refund for the value of the washing machine from currys. This was a part refund with us having to reclaim the remainder from repaircare. Another 4 weeks of phone calls and promises of the money being credited to our account and "its a computer error". We finally got our refund. The whole experience was an absolute drama. Repaircare do not believe in contacting the customer to keep them updated and every time you call them its a different person who needs the whole story retold. A very negative experience.

Repaircare contracts out the repairs.
Repair of Bosch frost free freezer still not completed. Paid in January 2012.
AJP installed part incorrectly and melted inside of freezer.
Informed Repaircare of my rights as advised by Trading Standards.
Repaircare ignored these rights and sent and engineer from Service Group. He repaired freezer but the same thing happened with inside the freezer being distorted.
Again informed Repaircare of rights to have the repair carried out by an engineer of my choice. They refused to let me have the work done by Bosch engineers.
Repaircare sent their engineer and now the freezer has distorted again, ice is forming inside the freezer and the temperature is fluctuating.
Complaints ignored. 7 months to repair one appliance. Appalling service.
If no stars were an option I would have chosen no star.

I have always had cover on my appliances but never need to claim until now!!. I called the Domestic and General and their service line, a very polite and I presume young lady took my details and arranged for fix it man to pop round. I had to take time off work but they planed it in for me which was great. I was really surprised by how often I was contacted making sure that all was well. The man came with the part and within the space of a 'cup of tea' it was fixed! Excellent super service. It was my pleasure to leave you feedback Repaircare.

Paid £165 for my fridge freezer to be repaired. This company send a third party who had no idea how to fix my appliance. 2 weeks later and they have caused additional faults and repair care have done nothing to help. They are the worst company and I don't know how they are still trading.

As I had used Repaircare before I had no hesitation in calling them again to quote and repair my broken down oven. The local engineer contacted me within the day and having explained the fault, he arranged a time to come and repair it, if fact he rang again to say that as he was in the area he would be able to do the job even quicker than first promised which was great so a big thankyou to him and repaircare for their brilliant service. PS I was unable to get the full picture regarding the reason for the stars but feel my grading fair. Len Brown. Penzance.

Company response : Dear Mr Clark in response to your post above I am disappointed that you feel you have received an unsatisfactory level of service, as a company we pride ourselves in giving a first class service and take all issues of dissatisfaction very seriously. As we discussed on the phone I think this is due to a breakdown in communication at our end and with the engineer, now that I am aware of this problem I will investigate as to why this was allowed to happen. I apologise for the service you have received and have refunded the full amount, which you will receive within the next 5 working days. After speaking to you I can confirm that we have agreed a set of actions and outcomes that you are now happy with, and we agree that this is a laps in service from Repaircare and that the service albeit far below our normal levels is in no means a scam. If you have any other questions or queries please don't hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards,
The Repaircare Team.
