I don't normally "do" reviews but I've made an exception on this occasion as I felt Lorenzo certainly warranted a huge massive thank-you. In a moment of madness we decided to hold our wedding in London, and with no recommendations to go by, we chose Lorenzo because we liked the style of his photos on his website and he gave a fair price. As soon as we met with Lorenzo we both knew we had made the right decision! He was so helpful with suggestions and ideas and patient with a scatty brained bride to be. Most of all he made us both feel extremely relaxed around him and unobtrusive. Looking back, I feel like he shared our wedding day with us rather than being the official photographer. Oh, yes and the most important bit - the photos are amazing! We're so so happy with them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lorenzo and would definitely use him again. He's a star!
We employed Lorenzo to take pictures on our wedding day in November 2012. I couldn't fault Lorenzo. He did a great job on the day, and was very confidence at getting the images he wanted. I was barely aware he there most of the time and was amazed at the images he produced from our wedding day - all 475 of them excelled my expectations. He also hand delivered our prints for us so we had them in time for Christmas day! That what I call customer service! He is a great photographer as well as a great guy and we would recommend him to anyone.
Finding a photographer for your wedding, which is one of the most important days of your life, is a challenge. The chosen person for me had to capture the day as it was, so that the memories would last forever. On top of this, they needed to blend in and not dictate what had to be done. It took me a while to come across Lorenzo but I was very impressed with his work and right from the outset I felt totally at ease with him and very happy to have him be part of our special day. His style was just what we wanted and he delivered an amazing quality of photos througout the day. Our guests even commented on how good he was and how they wished they'd had someone like him at their own wedding. We received well over 400 photos and Lorenzo printed off for us 100 of these. I have also ordered a beautifully presented photobook which really is a truely wonderful momento of our day. Throughout it all it has been a delightful experience dealing with Lorenzo and it's now quite sad that we have come to the end of it all! You will not be disappointed with his work and I can highly recommend him and all that he does.
We booked Lorenzo for a family photo shoot in our own home. He did a fantastic job, made friend with our children and put us all at our ease so he could snap away whilst we had fun playing with the children.
We are delighted with the resulting photographs, which capture our family dynamic so beautifully. I know that in the years to come we will all enjoy recalling the moments these images have captured, and for our children, happy memories of their childhood home.
By way of background, I was the opposite of a bridezilla. I was a disorganised bride, who planned her wedding in about 6 weeks (yes, I can relate to grooms on Don’t Tell the Bride). When I first looked at Lorenzo’s website, I thought that his photos looked like they were taken from the Vogue and there was no way he would agree to cover my no fuss wedding, especially on such short notice. In fact I was embarrassed to ask him, but I did it anyway. Lorenzo (bless him) agreed and took charge – he went to the restaurant we booked and liaised with the restaurant manager, he chose the location for the photographs before the wedding and organised family and guests on the day. The wedding was absolutely fantastic, I couldn’t have asked for more. Family and guests were so impressed, they took pictures of Lorenzo! My mother-in-law asked me to keep Lorenzo’s number so she would ask him to cover my husband’s sister’s (very proper Catholic) wedding. Lorenzo was very quick sending us the photos and always replied to emails straight away. The photos were exactly as I expected them to be – creative and so beautiful I can’t stop looking at them.
Lorenzo covered our wedding this summer at The Savoy, London and we're thrilled with the result! From the outset he worked extremely hard to put us at ease, even offering a practice shoot beforehand. On the day, he was extremely hard working but warm and friendly at the same time. Guests were impressed by Lorenzo's professionalism and his discretion, he really knows how to put you at ease. This mean's that there's hardly a photo that's not full of beaming faces and the happiness of the day! Lorenzo's photos capture the amazing venue and our emotions so well. Lorenzo was recommended to me by a friend, as I needed some professional environmental and studio portraits taken. We initially chatted on the phone; Lorenzo has a very friendly manner that immediately put me at ease.
We discussed different photographic styles and I was struck by how receptive he was to my ideas, as well as having strong direction himself.
The shoot itself was an enjoyable experience. Lorenzo shot with confidence and expertise, trying out different lighting set ups. I didn't feel he was just going through the motions, rather he was trying to achieve a creative image both for me as a client and to satisfy himself as an artist.
The pictures are excellent. Creative without being too self conscious, there was a range to choose from which exceeded my expectations. I can highly recommend Lorenzo as a accomplished photographer; what's more he is also good company.
Lorenzo worked with our school as a photographer and instructor. His work was professional, of an outstanding quality and the children were absolutely thrilled.
