These courses range from a single day refresher* course to a full basic training course as recommended in the Health and Safety Approved Code of Practice.
- Whilst it is not a legal requirement to re-test operators, it is strongly recommended that some form of refresher training is conducted, particularly if there is an introduction to new equipment or a change in the operators working environment.
Courses are generally carried out on your premises though off-site training can be arranged.
The courses are designed to provide the operator with the basic skills and knowledge to operate safely and efficiently, reduce; injury, damage to goods, vehicles and property; and to increase efficiency by developing maintenance and safety awareness.
All instructors are fully qualified and registered with the National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) which is one of the main accrediting bodies recognised by the Health and Safety Commission. Priority Training Services Ltd over the years has built up a customer base ranging from the small local business up to the much larger 'blue chip' national and international companies. The director has a wealth of experience in warehousing and distribution having worked actively in the sector prior to becoming a registered instructor.
