I would recommend this to anyone! Great fun, and a great way to get fit, improve your stamina and tone those not quite so well toned areas. This is not just about getting fit, sessions are fun and a great way to improve your confidence. As a middle aged mother of two I cannot recommend this enough - especially for those who want to try something different! A great instructor, friendly class and lovely new dance studio...I could go on, but just go and see for yourself :)

Beccy is a great teacher with a high class studio that is comfortable for everyone to use. She knows the correct balance between giving instruction and letting you freestyle and practice. I have personally been going there for just over 2 years now and am still learning so you would not get bored of this like you would a gym. My muscle tone has increased dramatically after starting pole dancing and the strength in my arms has doubled. I admit i do obtain a few bruises now and again but that's nothing compared to nailing that move that seems just gravity defying. Beccy has really made us like a community with her facebook page as well as there is plenty of pictures of moves and talk about all gossip pole dancing to keep us in the know.

Pole Magnets is a must, I was unsure if it was for me when I went to my 1st lesson just over a year ago, now I try not to miss a lesson.
Becky(who is just the best instructor ever) caters for all abilities.
I guarantee you will come out of your lesson feeling so good about yourself & may be also with a few bruises lol- But seriously not only is it great fun you get very fit and its better than any gym.
Dare you to give it a go.....

i have been pole dancing with Beccy summers for around 2 years now and i love it. Beccy is a good teacher and is also a lovely friendly person. All the classes i have been too are amazing, We do routines using moves we have learnt in the lesson and we also have a free style section of the class when beccy asks everyone is there anything new you want to try out. and she shows us how to perform the move then supports us whilst we are attempting the move. She is an awesome teacher, someone i consider a friend.

I have been a student at Pole Magnets with Beccy Summers since April 2009. I feel that I have received outstanding tuition that has been tailored to my personal needs and I find it impressive that Beccy still manages to do this even though I am being taught as part of a class and not on a one to one basis. It was pure luck that I came across Pole Magnets as it was not recommended to me by anyone but I have certainly recommended it to everyone that I know and I would do the same to anyone reading this review. Don't get me wrong, pole dancing is not easy and I am not saying that Beccy can make you a master in a matter of a few regular lessons, but what I am saying is that if you are willing to put in the effort, whatever your reason for going to pole dancing might be, then Pole Magnets and Beccy Summers will help you achieve your goals in a fun and friendly environment.

I have just been to my first ever pole dance lesson and I was really impressed, got to go back again next week! Beccy, the instructor, was so warm and friendly, she made me feel really welcome. I was really worried about going as I’m quite self conscious, but to be honest, Beccy kept us so busy it wasn’t an issue. After a quick warm-up we were on the poles, learning moves and having a laugh with it too. We had a pole each but I think it's normally 2 people per pole. There were some more advanced people there too, practicing for the next class I think, I can’t wait till I can climb the pole gracefully and do the upside down moves, looking all sexy! The other girls there were lovely, really encouraging, nobody there was negative and I’m really buzzing about next week. Bring it on!
