Operating from Manchester City Centre, Plectrum Tutoring provides individual guitar lessons, repairs and rental services to clients throughout Manchester and the surrounding areas. Established in 2008 the company is continuing to develop and mature as a business creating a professional and understanding approach to guitar playing. All members of the team have a minimum of 15 years playing experience, playing a variety of styles and guitars.

Plectrum Tutoring offers a modern and diverse approach to learning the guitar, with lesson plans designed to suit players of all ages and abilities enabling them to advance to their maximum potential, at their own pace, on a one to one basis. Plectrum Tutoring are please to introduce an extended repair and rental service. Allowing an opportunity to try a range of guitars before deciding if the guitar is the right instrument of choice.

The company is ran by Alexis Lee Lavigne who has been playing the guitar for over 15 years and during this time has been able to develop in to a mature guitarist influenced by an array of styles. Having originally found learning the guitar difficult, Alexis understands the demand for a good guitar teacher who can empathise with his students having already experienced the problems that they may face while learning.
