2.75 2.7 out of 5 - I recieved my Opus bedside cabinet and chest of drawers. One of the protective pads on the feet had been pulled off and the company sent me another two by post which was ok. I was a little disappointed to discover that the tabs to hold the drawers in were made of oak in the bedside cabinet but plastic in the chest of drawers, although I have not mentioned this to the company. The plastic ones are rather uncomfortable on the fingers when turning them so thankfully I don't need to remove the drawers very often. I was also disappointed with the gaps around the drawers and feel they could have been made a better fit without making the drawers stiff to move; in fairness I noticed this before I ordered but I am sure this fitment could be designed better.
I didn't receive any invoice or receipt and despite telephoning on 3 separate occasions, each time being told that it would be in the post that day, I still have nothing to prove my purchase which I consider as being very unacceptable.
Update 7/11/12 I have received a confirmation of my order but I still have not had a proper invoice and a receipt to prove that I have paid.
Company response : I'm sorry you haven't yet received an invoice our automated system is not working currently and as we are about to launch a new site I'm afraid fixing it hasn't been at the top of our list of priorities. I will arrange for an invoice to be generated manually and sent out to you.
As for the product comments you have made I'm afraid our manufacturers do occasionally make small non-cosmetic changes without our knowledge and I think the draw stops probably come into this category. I will however feedback your comments to the manufacturer - thank you for letting us know. |
