Created by the organisers of the hugely successful South Wales Boat Show, the North Wales Boat Show takes place at Vaynol Estate nr Bangor which is very similar to Margam Park, as used by the South Wales show. The features of Vaynol allow the show organisers to host a programme of events to mirror Margam, including the successful and very popular come and try on the lake at Vaynol to get people out on the water on various types of watercraft.

North Wales Boat Show is the next biggest boating event in Wales. In 2008 it attracted over 11, 000 visitors. Its sister event South Wales Boat Show in Margam Park where over 12, 000 visitors to the event with over 178 exhibitors. The 2009 event has over 15, 000 visitors are expected over the 3 days. The show covers the whole marine industry and is delighted to provide loads of great family attractions including the famous come and try on the lake where they hope to put over 1000 children out on the water like in 2008. Its a great Family day Out. The North Wales Boat Show has an expanding customer base, situated throughout the UK, including many of the UK's Leading boat building companies, It is also sponsored by National Boat Shows who run London and Southampton events. The show provides a great shop window with a wide range of marine products from hand held electrical right up to day sailors and larger power boats up to high values that are handmade and are highly practical for the Welsh Coast. The whole show is a great family day out, and is suitable for all ages. Family tickets are available from 15 pounds.

The company is managed by Ben Sutcliffe who has been involved in the Marine Industry for over 30 years with in the trade. He has been involved with boat shows since 1987. Ben Sutcliffe is a very experienced show organiser with a passion to make the shows successful for the whole marine industry in Wales. He has succeeded in uniting and promoting the Welsh marine industry to all work together.
