Formed in August 2011, No.9 Ltd is an eclectic shop, selling items such as; bespoke furniture, customised furniture, (both of which can be made to order), street art from all over the world, vintage clothing, fashion clothing, jewellery, gadgets and much more.
No.9 creates and sells bespoke and contemporary furniture, influenced by street art and the Cornish surf culture. Alongside a range of alternative gadgets and gift ideas, No.9 also sells unusual, original and limited canvasses by modern street artists, local artists and shady ninjas. No.9 stocks a hand-picked range of women's jewellery, as well as vintage men and women's clothing and its own high-quality clothing range. No.9 is also able to create to order any piece of home or business furniture, however odd. Please see the website for examples (coming soon). The bigger the challenge, the greater the smile on the No.9 designers face.
No.9 is managed and owned by Emma Gunby and Sam Dunnett. Emma has been involved in the retail trade for some time, working for, amongst others, the high-profile independent Cornish surf shop 'The Wavehouse' for several years.
Emma is also a fully qualified Nail Technician specialising in Nail Art, a delicate skill which she has transferred into the design and customising of restored furniture.
Sam Dunnett is a director of 'Babylon Wood', a bespoke, contemporary wooden furniture design company, with experience in fitting houses, shops and bars.
Hello there, shop owners of No.9, i recently came into your shop and purchased a wide variety of products, and I think that bed design is one of a kind! I felt the furniture side of the products are very well designed and assembled , credit must be given to whom ever comes up with these designs, and the level of finish on each of these items of furniture is truly outstanding.
I literally can’t wait to return to the shop and see what else has been produce; I am sure the owner must be “living the dream” so to speak, good luck and see you soon.
Everything is so original in No. 9. Bought a stunning necklace at an amazing price and it's commented on ALL the time. Not only do they do amazing pieces of furniture, they do amazing clothes, jewelry and prints. Quality over quantity - if you want original, shop at No. 9!
Amazing and well-needed shop in Bude. It's so refreshing to have a shop selling more than just surf clothes and seaside tat! I'd reccommend No.9 to anybody after anything from a beautifuk, bespoke piece of furniture to a new dress for your night out!
All Staff from John Harris Accountancy went to the open evening for No.9 Ltd. We felt very welcome when entering the store, and were offered a cold beverage...and even some of the hog roast that was on offer!!! I bought a top from No.9, it was very different to other clothes i've seen in other shops and i loved the material and wear it all the time. All in all a great shop, and we at John Harris Accountancy wish them all the best! :-)
