 out of 5 | My Local I.T Guy fixed my Sony Vaio for me in under 24hours, replacing my broken LCD screen and screen hinges. They ordered the new screen and hinges right in front of me while I was there on the Monday and on the Tuesday the parts arrived and my laptop was fixed. I still cant believe these guys repaired what I was about the throw in a skip, for half the estimated cost that PC world quoted me, and in less than 24 hours too. |
out of 5 | I came across My Local IT Guy through google and a quick look at this website helped me decide to take my poorly laptop there. Richard was extremely helpful, and was around for me to drop it off on a bank holiday. The work was completed quickly, a tricky job done perfectly, and the final cost was about half the price of what I had been quoted elsewhere. Whilst I hope I won't need to use My Local IT Guy again, I won't hesitate to if I needed something doing to my laptop. A very happy customer. |
 out of 5 | I had a very annoying virus on my laptop, I.T guy not only got rid of it but cleared my security programmes and downloaded a better one onto my laptop to keep me better protected. I.T guy explained everything he was doing which gave me confidence in his ability to address the problem. He was also very friendly and this allowed me to ask questions about any other concerns that I had. I felt that he gave me very good advice and I am very happy with the service I received. |
out of 5 | It's was an absolute pleasure to find Richard from My Local IT Guy on Google and have him repair my two laptops. I sought a number of alternative quotes, all of which were completely extortionate, before finding Richard and to find someone so down-to-earth and genuinely honest was incredibly refreshing. One laptop had broken hinges; the other a cracked lid. The alternative quotes came in at over GBP400.00 for both and My Local IT Guy did both for just over GBP100.00 including parts. I can't recommend My Local IT Guy highly enough and have no hestitation in recommending them to others. |

out of 5 | After being messed about by PC world, I undertook a long process of finding somewhere else to repair my broken screen on my laptop. I found 'My local I.T guy' on the internet and immediatley felt I was in safe hands. After speaking to Richard, I knew he was honest and reliable and most importantly knew what he was talking about, unlike a few of the employees in PC World. I did not have to wait 2 weeks to find out IF my laptop could be repaired, there were NO upfront costs , I paid once my laptop was repaired and My laptop was repaired within days. I didnt not have to wait weeks. EVERYTHING that was promised was delievered. I would recommend Richard to anyone. I am avery satisfied customer, one of many I am sure and I have already recommended Richard to a few people. I will not hesitate to use Richard at all. Thanks once again. |
out of 5 | I had to use Richard a couple of times in quick succession, firstly to remove a bunch of viruses on my laptop, then to replace the screen on the same machine. Richard provided excellent service and was extremely knowledgeable about the problems I was experiencing, even from over the phone descriptions. He was available early in the morning to very late in the evening and always kept to the timings he estimated at the outset. For my first job, it was reassuring to know that there was a price cap for the work so that even if something unexpected cropped up, the cost had an upper ceiling. In the event, the job proved to be more involved than expected, so the cap came into effect. For my second job, the work was done within a few hours and everything worked fine. I would recommend Richard to anyone who needs any of the services he offers - in fact, I already have! |
