The company is owned and managed by Karen Kelly who has two young children. She is a working mum with a background in IT. She decided to move into Mums in Control to give her the opportunity of owning and running a successful business whilst being there for her children.
The first magazine was published in April 2008 for the East Worcester area and was well received by readers and businesses alike.
It provides a great way for small businesses to reach their target audience effectively and at great prices. The website also opens up opportunities for community involvement and small business promotion locally.
