Mumease - Doula Service

Mumease doula service is based in South Dorset, serving mums throughout the county.

A birth doula provides information and support during pregnancy, helping with birth plans and supporting decisions. A birth doula is on call 24hrs / day for two weeks either side of the due date, to provide support throughout labour and birth, concentrating on the birth plan and adapting to changing situations. A birth doula will visit after the birth to talk through the experience and provide support for breastfeeding and the early days of motherhood.

A post-natal doula provides support following the birth of a baby. This ranges from emotional support to walking the dog.

Mumease can provide emotional and practical support for families during pregnancy, birth and the post-natal period. Providing one-to-one care at the most important time of life.

Mumease is able to provide support for births at home or in hospital (DCH or others by arrangement).

A birth pool, with all additional equipment, is also available for hire.
