Muir's Tours - Travel ConsultantMuir's Tours is a well established company that provides unusual experiences to clients throughout lesser travelled areas. The non-profit organisation, which is based in Reading, was founded in 1999.
Allowing clients to see wildlife, or to hike or raft dramatic places and / or meet people from cultures not often visited. The organisation offers individuals or small groups a professionally designed package. With expert local guides and where necessary Western experts to ensure safety etc. Locations include Nepal, India, Chile and remote Canada. The base / intermediate camps may be basic or they can be comfortable to suit the group.
They have a satisfied group of customers that are situated mostly in the UK and North America, including adventure seekers and those who love to be in remote places. The organisation is managed by Maurice Adshead FRGS who has been focusing on the Fair Trade market for many years. Having previously managed a team at Nepal Kingdom Foundation, Maurice Adshead is more than qualified to look after the company.

3.3 out of 5 | I went on a tour to Churchill, Manitoba for the Polar Bear viewing. The time spent out in the tundra lodge was exceptional. The time spent in the town of Churchill was not that impressive. We also went to another lodge out in the wilderness which was nice but not as scenic as the tundra lodge.
