Moira Hargreaves, Registered Homeopath, works within the Warrington Osteopathic Clinic which is conveniently located in the centre of Warrington. Homeopathy is a powerful but safe, gentle system of medicine which has no side effects, is non-toxic, non-addictive, is pleasant to take and its effects can be immediate. Homeopathy can help everyone from the youngest baby to the oldest person among us. It can be used alongside conventional medicine to help alleviate side effects and offers valuable support in the withdrawal of prescribed or non prescribed drugs and alcohol.

Homeopathy works by using minute doses of natural substances to stimulate the body's own healing ability, and because any substance which causes a symptom or a set of symptoms can, when given in specially prepared minute doses, cure those same symptoms. Homoeopathic remedies have been proved on people rather than tested on animals. Homeopathy takes a wider view of illness and disease, its causes and the way in which people express their illness individually.

At the first consultation clients are asked not only about their illness, but also about them as a person and about their lifestyle. In this way a picture is built to give an understanding of the whole person, not just a disease or set of symptoms, because ultimately it is the client, the whole person, and not the disease that needs to be cared for.

At the end of the initial consultation clients will usually be given a tablet or course of tablets, and a follow-up consultation will be arranged to assess progress.

Moira trained and qualified at the College of Practical Homeopathy in Dudley, is a member of the Complimentary Therapist Association, and is on the Register of Homeopaths. She is committed to furthering peoples understanding about homeopathy and their own health, and works closely with her clients to facilitate this, believing that people should be empowered to take responsibility for their own health.
