5.0 out of 5 | A perfect apartment in every way. The location couldn't be better - in the centre of town with it's own parking space. John is the friendly, welcoming owner who has gone out of his way to provide immaculate accommodation of an extremely high standard. The sunny garden courtyard is a delight. The appartment is always well maintained and very clean - crockery,cutlery,linen etc all match which you don't always find. John has gone out of his way to provide small additional extras for our arrival which are much appreciated. 5.0 out of 5 | John Haswell is the quintessential landlord and host; he provided us with not only lovely and well-kept accommodations (including Christmas decorations) but also provided helpful information about pubs, restaurants, and stores. Our stay was more than pleasant and the location is perfect, allowing peace and quiet at the apartment and yet nearby access to the lovely town of Berwick. We hope to visit with him at Berwick again-- soon!
