The Merchants of Colegate are a fine dining restaurant with an a la carte evening menu and a varied lunch menu. Set inside a beautiful building, the decor is fresh and cosy with a 60 seat restaurant and a separate bar area. The kitchen is open plan with a big glass wall so people can watch their food being prepared by the very skilled chefs. The restaurant also boasts home to some fine artwork many of which is the work of Jack Vettrianno.

Merchants of Colegate has an expanding customer base, situated in and around Norwich, including local businesses and also local families and small groups out for a relaxing quiet evening. With a team that includes 2 very qualified and experienced head chefs, friendly wine and food waiting staff, Merchants of Colegate has a proffesional competent team offering a friendly relaxed un-pretentious atmosphere, qualified to the restaurants very high standard. The company is owned by Darious Danesh who has been focussing on the British trade for many years. Having previously owned and managed a broad range of companies wihin the hospitality sector, Darious Danesh is more than adequate to run the company.

The Restaurant Manager Daniel Maccoll who has worked in and studied the hospitality trade for 8 years and has experience of running and manageing an array of companies within the sector, joined the team in April 2007 and alongside Dario is working towards bring the business to the next level of fine dining.
