Purchased a Valencia back fire basket from this company 16.01.2013 very disappointed with the amount of heat it gives out, I phoned them to ask there advice they said now I had used the fire there is nothing they can do, I now have to go to a different supplier for a gas burner that gives out more heat!

Be very caerful of what you are buying!

I wouldn't have thought that buying a fireplace from Manchester when I live in London would have been so easy! Everyone I dealt with by phone or e-mail was extremely helpful and replied promptly. They sent extra photos when I asked about specific details. They were helpful in suggesting which inserts and hearths matched surrounds and took their time to help me find what I wanted. Delivery was arranged when I needed it. I purchased a fireplace surround, insert and hearth and the finished product looks fantastic.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I dealt with their levenshulme branch and i was pleasantly suprised. The service was brilliant, the pirces were competitive and the fireplace was beautiful. I would recommend them again and again and i will certainly be using them again!

I was extremely pleased with the quality of service from beginning to end. Although i had to change the product, due to incorrect information given by me regards the flue type, the staff at Manchester Fireplaces provided me with a replacement superior product and i received a discount off list price. Staff were courteous by telephone and at the showroom.
