LOROS offers free training opportunities in end of life care to all health and social care workers throughout the East Midlands. The charity, which is located in Leicester, was established in 1985 and has many years of experience in the Health and Social Care Training profession. LOROS uses the expertise from the hospice aiming to achieve 'Excellence in Care through Education'.

LOROS enables students to improve thier skills and confidence within a flexible timescale. The organisation provides health and social care staff from all settings with high quality End of Life Care education. Many courses at LOROS are free.

Teaching takes place within the Hospice, a library is available for students and courses are taught by fully qualified expert teachers.

LOROS has a steady network of clients, situated within the East Midlands, including GP's, Nurses, Health care Assistants, Social workers. etc.
