I went to Lisa with a seriously sore hip that was preventing me from running. Lisa diagnosed the problem, worked on it, sorted it out and furthermore went on to relieve my aching neck, shoulders and other muscles. I felt completely relaxed and not at all self-conscious. I left the treatment room thoroughly relaxed and free from pain, it was amazing and I would recommend her to anyone. I enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely return. Thank you Lisa

I turned to Lisa for help when I found that my experiences with other therapists were getting me nowhere in my bid to overcome my knee injury and return to running. I believe a lot of the success we enjoyed was due to the fact that Lisa herself runs and competes, and so understands how frustrating it can be to be injured.

At my first consultation, Lisa took time to understand my running habits, why I thought I had got injured and what I believed was wrong with. She immediately identified that my IT band was extremely tight and that a deep massage would help to improve the mobility of my knee especially if coupled with strengthening exercises for my quads.

The massage got to the heart of the problem - I won't pretend it was pain-free - and after a couple of days' rest, I was able to extend my time running three-fold, before experiencing any discomfort. After a couple of follow up sessions, I was able to resume full training, which included running up to 50+ miles a week, pain-free and without any re-occurrence of the injury.

The service provided by Lisa represents very good value for money. She is flexible and will suggest alternative appointments if her diary is already full of runners, especially leading up to big events such as Virgin London Marathon or the Triathlon season.

The quality of her work speaks for itself and I can recommend her highly. She understands how the body works, the impact exercise can have on it, and most importantly, how to get to the root cause of a problem.

Lisa has really helped me get back to running fitness after 6 months' complete rest due to a couple of torn ligaments in my ankle. When I started running again I found that I had lots of aches and pains where I was compensating for my injury, and without Lisa's help I don't think I would have recovered as well as I have. 3 months into training again, I have already completed the Great South and a couple of half marathons. Fingers crossed it will continue for a marathon in the spring.

As a cricketer I was always moaning that I needed to do something about the state of my back during the summer months. That's until I had Lisa recommended to me! Since then I have found absolutely no reason to go anywhere else for sorting out not only sports-related muscle problems but also general back issues caused by my bad posture.

As well as being professional and highly skilled in her job, she is always very friendly and full of good conversation. On top of all this, she always seeks to accommodate her regular customers at short notice, even when she's pushed for time.

In other words I cannot recommend Lisa enough if you are looking for a superb Sports Therapist in the West Berkshire area.

I found Lisa through her website and from the reviews she had already I thought I'd give her a try. So glad I did! A pain in my upper back/neck that hadn't shifted in months was treated within a few sessions and I now regularly go back for preventative treatments.

Lisa is a very skilled and truly friendly person who puts you at ease from the start. I would recommend Lisa to anyone and very much look forward to my next treatment.

I cannot recommend Lisa enough. I first visited Lisa after undertaking a sports challenge for charity and knowing I was going to be stiff, sore and in need of a treat I started looking for a sports massage. I looked at several sites and initially chose Lisa because she was closest to home and offered the best flexibility in terms of timing - and was pleasantly surprised to find she was also the cheapest.

On my first visit Lisa and I discussed what sports I had recently been doing and also the charity event I completed a few days before... Lisa used this to give my muscles a thorough work-up and she managed to pick out every one of my sore spots and get out all the knots, as well as picking up on the problems I have with my neck and shoulders which go back 10 years from a whiplash injury.

I have since visited Lisa again to finally try and resolve the problems I have with my upper back and what a difference I felt after that visit. Lisa did a great job at working out 10 year old knots and managed to do so without causing any real discomfort - an issue that had held me back for so many years.

I'm not going to pretend that Lisa managed to fix me 100% - it's impossible to undo 10 years worth of trouble in under an hour - but the truth is I am glad, because if Lisa had fixed me 100% I wouldn't have an excuse to go and have another fab massage!

Thanks Lisa!
Rhiannon

 Lisa a great sports masseur.
As a wanna be marathon runner running on very limited training, getting a decent sports massage is absolutely essential. And whenever I have niggles, injuries or have overdone it, Lisa sorts it out. She has a great professional approach to what she does and is the first person I call after any long run or bike ride.

Whenever anyone asks if I can recommend a sports therapist in this area, Lisa's name is the first on the list.

I was homebound with Sciatica and in massive amounts of pain when I found Lisa. After the first session I could move much more freely and the subsequent massages completely sorted me out! I've been back since to prevent any recurrence of the problems - and I would (and indeed have) recommend Lisa to all my family and friends as she truly works wonders!
