Lingua4 Ltd - Language TrainingLingua4 Ltd is the company behind Speekee, the exciting new Spanish learning system for children of pre-school and primary age. Based in West Yorkshire and Arcos de la Frontera, Spain, the company produces DVDs and other educational resources for use in the home and school.
Speekee features 10 entertaining and fun episodes on DVD, plus a 34-track audio CD of original Spanish learning songs, and a comprehensive guide for parents. There's a bonus DVD with all the songs on too. Starring a host of engaging characters, including real Spanish children filmed on location in Spain, each episode is highly structured but flows naturally.
The company is owned and managed by Jim Porter, Emma Bell, and Jan and Aaron Forshaw. Jim speaks English and Spanish. He ran a successful language education business in London, developing a highly effective method of accelerated learning for learners of all ages.
Jan is an expert in educational practice, directing education services for a UK charity that reaches over three quarters of a million children each year. Jan is also a classically trained musician and has written songs for a range of educational projects, most recently Speekee.
Emma speaks English, Spanish and German. She has taught languages to learners of all ages for over 10 years.
Aaron has a Ph. D in theoretical physics, and has worked for the last ten years as an IT consultant. Aaron can get by in English, but wishes he spoke another language.
