Lesley Moran Maternity Reflexologist - Maternity Service

Operating from Derby, Lesley Moran BA(Hons), BscOT (Hons), is a competent therapist offering reflexology and maternity reflexology to clients throughout Derby.
Lesley is a registered practitioner with the Association of Reflexologist and the International Institute of Reflexologist and has a post graduate Certificate of Competency in Maternity Reflexology. This incorporated reflexology support for preconceptual care and fertility, pregnancy care, birthing care, post natal care and newborn baby care.
Lesley is happy to discuss any elements of her training and experience with clients.

Reflexology is a natural and holistic way to improve health and well being.
It has its roots in ancient Egypt, but was developed by a Physiotherapist, Eunice Ingham in the 1930's. Ingham developed charts identifying reflex points on the hands and feet relating to organs, glands and parts of the body.
The Ingham method of reflexology uses fingers and thumbs on these reflex points to help calm and relax clients, improve circulation and achieve natural balance.

Lesley Moran works part time in the NHS as an Occupational Therapist and has been involved in healthcare for over 15 years. It was following her own experiences of the benefits of reflexology that Lesley decided to train with the International Institute of Reflexology, and again, experiencing the benefits during her own pregnancies that she decided to complete further training in maternity reflexology.
During pregnancy women can find reflexology deeply relaxing, helping them to adjust to the hormone, emotional and physical changes they encounter.
