I can honestly say that Lawsons have provided me with a service beyond any other letting agent. With this being the first time I have moved out the family home, the whole team were exceptional in dealing with any sort of query I had. From the first point of contact, Lawsons were professional, polite and managed to help me in finding the perfect place to move into. Sally Garner was an absolute delight to deal with, couldn't thank her enough for all the help she's given in answering my 101 questions and a special thank you to Michelle, Nigel and Dean, what a fantastic team you guys are. As a landlord I have always used Lawsons as they provide me with a very professional service. I have recently had a very demanding tenant who complained a lot and at no time did Lawsons undermine her to me. They dealt with all her minor concerns immediately as I have always trusted them so we fixed a few doors quickly and a few garden fence issues. The major issue of a boiler failure caused the most problem as even though I had paid a standing order to the gas provider for tenant call outs, the tenant complained to Lawsons. They were more than prepared to contact SSE on her behalf and after 2 call outs and semi fixes they sent 2 of their own contractors out who stated that the boiler needed replacing. I immediately gave the go ahead and then the tenant refused to let the contractor enter the building until she was ready which delayed matters by 2 or 3 weeks. At no time did Lawsons show anything but professional courtesy about her.
She even demanded to be released from her contract early which we agreed as she was unhappy and again at no time did Lawsons encourage me to hold her to her signed agreement.
We even deducted some rent for her last months rent even though the delay fir our contractors access was her decision.
Some people just like to be the victim.

I have recently left a property let by Lawsons and can truly say it has been one of the worst experiences of my life. From start to end Lawsons have been unproffessional, uncaring and provided a very poor service. I have had 10 months in a property plagued with problems including no doors that closed, no heating hot water at all for over 3 weeks and damp plus so many more and I had no option but to stop my rent payment to force the landlord to fix the boiler and his repsonse was you can leave early from your tenancy obviously I couldnt leave immediately I had no where to go and that wasn't a solution to having no heatong and hot water for weeks. We now have a £500 electricity bill for 6 weeks which is so high from having electric heaters and boiling kettles to keep warm amd clean in a large semi detached 3 bed house which had no other form of heating and even had to buy the electric heaters. paid my rent once the boiler was fixed. The response from Lawsons to the problems reported was very poor. Never received an apology just insulted by the staff and the manager of repairs Becky Hume for daring to expect a good service yes I refuse to pay the one weeks rent owed after leaving and have referred the case to the tenancy deposit scheme for them to make a decision on whats fair, Im more than happy to pay when an independent person looks at the case I just wnated a decent house to live in. Customer service is excellent. Michelle and the team did everything to make the transition as easy and stress-free as possible, and even when there was a problem, it was dealt with quickley and profesionally. Overall I felt valued and treated as an individual. If the opportunity to go by Lawson's again, I would take It. Thank You.

From the first point of contact by telephone all dealings with Lawson's were helpful and professional - it was clear this was in a different league from standard letting agents. Sally Garner, who took me on viewings, couldn't have been more helpful. She listened, got the measure of what I was really looking for, and came up with the ideal place which wasn't one I would have even thought of looking at; she also made the associated admin as easy as possible. Michelle has been a joy to work with. She has been very helpful in dealing with all our requests promptly, politely, empathetically, and to our complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend her, and by association, Lawson's, to anyone.

Michelle Pittaway was fantastic and very helpful.

When I had any problems Michelle sorted them out strsightaway and didn't mind me pestering her with phone calls. God forbid I have to move again I wouldn't hesitate to use Lawsons.

Michelle and all the staff at lawsons were very friendly and helpful and I would recommend people to use them.

As with all the previous times I have used Lawson's, both the agents and manager were all extremely helpful and considerate of some special requirements which I had made them aware of. They were also quick and courteous when replying to any additional queries I contacted them about.

I have been dealing with Ms Michelle Pittaway whom I found to be professional, honest and easy to communicate with. I am extremely satisfied and pleased in the very short time that a suitable tenant was found for my property.

I dealt with Claire who was very professional from the start and kept me informed along the way as to how my application was going. Overall the experience with Lawsons was a positive one. The only issue I had was that the property had been advertised as to let but wasn't actually in a condition to be viewed, therefore I had to wait a while before I could look at it. I would recommend that all properties are looked at and sorted out before they are advertised. Luckily in my situation I had the time to spare. As I say other than that there were no issues.Since writing the above review I have had nothing but problems, the heating in the flat that I rented did not work properly even though I had asked if it did before moving in there, when I stated that I wanted to void the contract due to negligent misrepresentation of the property I had issues in doing so and after managing to get them to agree to allow me to void the contract 2 months later I have still not received all of the money that I am owed after chasing constantly. Be very careful to check everything works in the property and do not take Lawson's word for it as you could encounter issues, like I did further down the line! - Read More
