After spending 17 years as a Head of Department in Secondary Schools, he became a Teacher Training Assessor and supervisor to De Montford University, Bedford. Experienced in organising Management Development Courses to companies such as Trusthouse Forte and Marconi GEC, he has taught European and Far Eastern students, and been a Course Director for Language schools over the past six years, including Bell Language School, Cambridge. Qualified Teacher registered by the Department for Education and Skills.
