Formed in 2011, Kings Public Houses Ltd has many years of experience in the pubs and restaurant trade, and also provides high quality bed and breakfast. The company is based in Layer Breton (Colchester).

The pub itself boasts of real ales, fine wines and a good selection of draft larders. There is also a beautiful restaurant serving mouth watering dishes and all produce is sourced locally wherever possible, the meat coming from local farms and the fish from Mersea. Also provided is high quality bed and breakfast accommodation, and the beautiful paddock lends itself to campers.
